Watercolor craft!!!

A sweet family gave me a gift card to an art supply place for graduation. I ended up with a new set of watercolors. This is my first time to use watercolors in a long time...so I was a little nervous. But I found this idea, and it was super fun and easy to do!

You start by painting the water color in random places all over the canvas. Try to keep in mind that you will be painting flowers over these, so use an assortment of colors and shapes. Use some green streaks for stems every now and then. And have a good concentration of color at the bottom since that's where all the foliage is. After it dries, just paint (using black acrylic paint) flowers, leaves, and random strokes over the water color. Try to make the flowers centered on color patches, so the flowers have more color. After that dries, you can fill in the flowers with a few more watercolor details if that suits your fancy.

It took me about two hours total to do, including the drying time. It's now decorating my dorm room!!! I'm thankful to the Lord for colors and the happiness that His artwork (His beautiful creation) brings to the world.
